- $150 – Pays for 3 youth to have groceries for a week
- $69 – 1 monthly bus pass for a street youth
- $31 – The required fee for California State ID
- $175 – GED examination fee for one person

Any of the pantry items below can be purchased and shipped to us through Amazon, Walmart, or Target, or you can drop off to our Costa Mesa food pantry.

StandUp for Kids is a nationally recognized and acclaimed volunteer nonprofit organization committed to the rescue of homeless and street kids. Now on the streets for twenty years! Two decades of making a difference!
Volunteers
Because we’re an all-volunteer organization, we always need more volunteers to help carry out our mission. Besides our needs for outreach counselors, we also need volunteers to serve on the leadership team. We do require our volunteers to go through background check and attend training before they can be out on the street. We are in MAJOR need of MALE mentors for our young men that need positive role models. If you’d like to help us, please click here and fill out the volunteer application. We’ll be in touch with you.
Fast Food Gift Cards
These are easy for us to distribute and easy for kids to use to get a hot meal. We could use about $200 in fast food coupons a month.
Bus passes
An example of when a kid needs a bus pass is when he/she is on job search.
Clothing
Kids on the street are always in need of fresh clothes. Socks are hot items amongst the kids.
Donations
We invite you to consider making a tax deductible gift. Whether it is $100 or $10,000 – know that you are making a difference in someone’s life. For each $100 you donate your providing the basic necessities to 30 children for 1 day.
