We are thrilled to announce that StandUp For Kids San Diego has been selected as one of the recipients of Qualcomm’s Social Impact giving initiative grants. With a generous contribution of $50,000 USD from Qualcomm, our mission to end the cycle of homelessness for at-risk youth receives a significant boost. This grant, made possible through the nomination by Qualcomm employee Nitin Ravinder, will empower us to make an even greater positive impact on our community.
The funds will be strategically utilized to further our core services:
Transitional Housing: Providing safe and stable housing for vulnerable youth.
Medical Support: Addressing the health needs of those we serve.
Educational and Vocational Training:Equipping youth with essential skills for a brighter future.
Kid Home Initiative: Reuniting youth with their families, fostering stability and support.
Recently, at an event hosted by Qualcomm to celebrate this philanthropic gesture, Terilyn Burg, a volunteer from StandUp For Kids San Diego, represented our organization. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Qualcomm for their commitment to creating positive change, and we eagerly anticipate the progress we will achieve in the coming year.
Thank you for being part of our journey to transform lives and build a stronger community!
