The Legacy of Excellence Awards are given to the Principal, Teacher and Partner of the Year for the Fulton County Public School District In Georgia.
This year StandUp For Kids – Atlanta received the highest honor granted a supporting community partner by being named the 2016/2017 Partner of the Year.
One-on-one mentoring provide homeless and at risk high school students an additional champion who believe in the student and their potential. StandUp involves local businesses, houses of worship, civic organizations and individuals that donate school supplies, annual scholarships, hygiene packs, lunches, and other needed items.
