The Third Annual Walk for MA Children
Tim and Susan Crane are doing the 10 day walk across MA from Boston to Westfield to bring awareness to the Children in MA.
Every day of the walk is hosted by a child/youth service non-profit agency.
APRIL 29TH, the walk will be going across Worcester and StandUp For Kids – Worcester is sponsoring the day.
15 miles across Worcester from Northborough to Leicester MA. Break stops every 3 miles. A vehicle will be at rest stops with water and snacks.
Meet at Motel 6 in Northborough on Route 9 to start the walk!
April 29th Meet at Motel 6 at 115 Lawrence St/Route 9., Northborough. Walkers leaving Motel 6 at 8:00 A.M.
Rest Stops as follows:
9:15-9:30 Break at Maple St./Rt. 9 in Shrewsbury;
10:45-11:00 in parking lot before the Dunkin Donut and across from UMassMemorial Hospital, at 119 Belmont Street, Worcester;
12:15-1:30 P.M. Lunch at Christ Tabernackle Apostolic at 1189 Main Street, Worcester;
2:25-3:00 Break at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church,759 Main Street, Leicester;
4:15 Finish the day at Cumberland Farms, 1530 Main St., Leicester,
Event at 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Gathering at Cafe Reyes, 421 Shewsbury St., Worcester
RSVP by April 16th to [email protected]. Let us know if you are joining the walk, where you plan to join and end. Also, if you are coming to the event. We need to give a head count to the Worcester Police for safety and for the Cafe Reyes event so they can be ready for event. After April 14th, late RSVP’s are still welcome to join.
